Hi there! My name is Katie.
I’m a New York-based editor, always on the hunt for great stories. I’d love to hear yours.
For six years, I was one of a handful of employees at Pegasus Books, where I wore a lot of hats. I acquired and edited over 50 titles, reached out to reviewers and media outlets about my books, and designed both print and digital ads for the company, as well as any other promotional materials my authors needed.
After that, I spent two years acquiring and developing webnovels at Tapas, then another two and a half years editing illustrated nonfiction projects at the Quarto Group. In May 2025, I earned an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, and in July 2025, I joined Alcove Press as an editor focusing on genre fiction.
